The MadCity Velo Club is a club based in the Madison, Wisconsin area for racing cyclists who view enjoyment of the sport as the most important goal. As our name indicates, we are a Racing club. Our members are motivated by competition and are comfortable in a competitive environment. We strive to keep competitive aspirations within the larger context of fitness, camaraderie and enjoyment. This balanced philosophy allows us to accommodate a larger range of racers and would-be racers than most bicycle racing clubs. The MadCity Velo Club strives to be the most welcoming point of entry to the world of bike racing and a place where recreational racers are supported and encouraged throughout their sporting lives.
