WCA Great Dane #2 crit result for hcurnutt

Only 7 riders, no one wanted to pull so I ended up sitting in front at an excruciatingly slow pace for pretty much the entire second half of the race. A woman from Chicago was being very unsafe trying to get off the front when she found herself on it, swerving all over the place, so I figured it was ok to lead as long as I wasn't putting any effort into it. I did accelerate on the hill sometime early in the race when I realized the Beans and Barley person was breathing hard, so we dropped her and got the pack down to 4. I was somewhat confident that I could outsprint Sarah (although it was definitely a lot closer than I would have liked); I knew Ridge has been focusing on Ironman so I didn't think she'd have much of a sprint and the Chicagoan was the big unknown. Right before the last corner, the woman from Chicago jumped, then eased up, then Sarah jumped and I managed to take second in the sprint, behind the Chicagoan and just ahead of Sarah.
