USGP Sun Prairie 2 result for TheTexan

Race went great, I would have been a little happier running a little bit higher pressure in my tires. The lower pressure caused an issue for me halfway through lap 1. When coming out of the technical sections through the trees I went down on a wet grassy section. I managed to get back up and catch back onto the group I was leading so that was good. There were a lot of “crashes” and people falling down in front of me throughout the race though. Mostly I was able to avoid those but as we know it still can cause you to come off your line. Overall I felt really good for my first cross race. The venue is just awesome! Cross is truly an awesome sport if you enjoy having your legs ripped off for half an hour. The best thing about this venue is that we get the see the same course as the pros, its amazing to watch thier speed on the course. It some sections almost frightening if your too close to the taped fence.
The Texan
