Course: map See Above
Technically challenging and hilly course that will test your management of power output over the entire 20K distance. See our web site at www.MadCityVelo.com for a more detailed description, a course map, and online registration instructions.

Directions: map
Start is at the Koshkonong Lutheran Church, located at Koshkonong and Church Roads near Cottage Grove. From I-39/I90, approximately 5 miles south of Madison, take the Highway N exit and proceed south approximately one mile to Koshkonong Road. Turn left on Koshkonong Road and proceed approximately two miles. The church will be on your right. The start line is between the two churches heading north on Church Road. The finish line is in front of the two churches on Koshkonong Road.

Registration:
Individual registration is $25 thru August 18, $30 thereafter. Family registration is $15 for 3rd, 4th, etc. family members. Start order will be determined by order of registration. To reduce event-day stress, pre-registration is preferred. There are 2 ways to pre-register:

  1. Register online at http://www.bikereg.com
  2. Complete and mail the bottom portion of our race brochure

Categories:
Stock Bikes - back for the fourth year by popular demand. Qualifying bikes must not have aerobars and have standard spoked wheels with rims no greater than 30mm deep. Bike determination will be checked at the start line.  For reference, a Mavic Ksyrium is OK, a Zipp 303 is OK, but a Zipp 404 is not. There are no rules regarding attire – aero helmets are fine with a stock bike.

Fixed/Single Speed Bikes - back for the fourth year is the Fixie/SS category. To qualify, you can only have one cog on the back wheel (and you must have a front brake if fixed, and both brakes if single speed).

Awards:
Awards will be presented to the overall fastest male and fastest female, top 3 finishers in each WISport age division, regardless of the category entered (stock, fixed, unrestricted). Awards will also be presented to top 3 male and female stock bike finishes, and top male and female fixed/single speed finishes.
